Our Mini Alpine Goats
The Miniature Alpine is a breed out of the Nigerian Dwarf and Alpine goats. This allows a homestead to have the best of both breeds in one small package. Meet our registered herd!
Santee Field Magdalena
F1 Mini Alpine
"Maggie" produces fantastic kids when paired with Big Creek Kola. So far, Maggie has consistently produced triplets. She has very good feet and a deep barrel. Her udder is small, but tightly attached. She has a sweet personality and great with kids. All her kids have been the best of both Maggie and Kola with higher milk productions.
You can often see Maggie in our Goat Education Workshops as well as at the Suffolk Library's Mess Hall. Maggie allows all the kids to take a turn at milking her.

Santee Field LFT Liebe
F2 Mini Alpine
Liebe is out of Santee Field Magdalena and Big Creek Kola.
This doe is very much like her sire. She has a well attached, soft udder with large orifices. She milks like a dream, and gives you a good amount of milk, too! Liebe has solid hooves and is an easy keeper. She has a spunky personality, and is a terrific mother. She will adopt (or steal) other kids. We have to keep a close eye on this cute, mischievous doe.

Big Creak Kola
F1 Mini Alpine
Kola is a fantastic buck! He has such a loving and patient personality. Kola has a nice long and wide body set on solid hooves. He has wonderfully straight front legs and very nice perpendicular back legs. And Kola is strong! He will pull a cart with hay or produce as well as a young kid with a sled. He will trot along no problem. Kola will pack out well and allow toddlers to have a short ride on his back. He has his forever home here.
